BSOD

Postby RageRitual on Sun May 17, 2009 8:25 am

Recently bought board, ram and cpu upgrades from summit. Not had any BSOD in years now I am getting them several times a day. The hardware is all installed properly and software is fresh format with updated drivers. I popped in my old ram and still having the problem so that rules the ram out. The BSOD keeps mentioning the same dll file in it, NV4_disp.dll I assume this has something to do with my graphics card (geoforce 8800gt). Could my new board be incompatible for some reason? (asus p5ql pro).

Open to suggestions, and if more info is needed lemme know.

Does nobody read these forums anymore?

Came to my attention to check if overheating. Both the motherboard and the cpu sit around 40c and the video sits just under 60c. So I doubt it is the heat.

Bring it in and let our service technician take a look at it. The diagnostic fee is $25.
