RAM purchased tests as "bad"

Postby Tigeriron on Tue Jul 22, 2008 3:23 pm

[color=indigo]
I bought a 1 GB DDR2 667 Mhz ram module in late December 2007. My PC manufacturer MDG says the ram is "bad".

Do you or can you test the ram?

If the ram is bad, what warranty would I have had on this purchase?

I installed the ram myself, using a wrist strap and proper ESD precautions. Does it matter if Summit installed the ram or I did?

Thanks for your help!

Marilyn
